Hi there! I'm Courtney Ngere, and I just completed my 16-week internship with Enilram Creative Solutions with the Social Media & Content Creation track. As a student at Veritas Scholars Academy, this experience provided exposure to a fast paced professional environment. During my time with ECS, I gained significant experience in AI integration and earned my official ECS AI Integration Specialist credential.
During the program, I gained skills, from properly applying SEO and marketing strategies to using numerous AI tools to make my workflow faster. I also gained practical experience in creating and scheduling content and developing marketing plans.
What I enjoyed most about this program was working with Miss Marline. She is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about so many different AI tools and was a great mentor throughout this entire journey. Learning from her was a truly great experience.
In this portfolio, you'll find a look at my key projects, my professional growth over the last 16 weeks, and my future career plans.
LinkedIn Profile Transformation
I approached my LinkedIn profile like a visual resume, making sure my professional experience and skills were immediately clear. I wanted my profile to show the practical experience I gained during my ECS internship (and my other experiences), so I added descriptions of my work, created a custom banner, and wrote my About section.
From a problem solving perspective, I treated the profile’s structure as a tool to make information quickly readable. By listing my ECS experience in the description and my other experiences, I made it easy for employers or potential clients to see my relevant skills at a glance, without having to scroll or dig through multiple sections.
This strategy worked best because it turned my profile into a resume that highlights my most valuable, current experience. Listing concrete tasks from the internship gave tangible evidence of my skills, which is much more impactful than a summary.

Resume Enhancement
My goal for this project was to make my resume more organized and presentable to potential employers and clients. I wanted to use AI as a strategic partner to refine my content and ensure my professional story was clear and compelling.
I used a variety of prompts to achieve my goal. The most effective one was: “I’m looking to refine my resume for a social media manager or content creation role. I want to emphasize my most relevant skills, accomplishments, and experiences while making sure it’s aligned with the expectations of employers in this field. What are the key skills and achievements that I should highlight? How can I structure my resume to show measurable impact and growth in my previous roles? Make it slightly more brief and make sure it highlights my current projects. Make it much more refined and professional.”
This project taught me a key lesson: the more specific and detailed the prompt, the better the output. The AI was able to act as a professional career consultant and provide targeted, actionable feedback that I couldn't have gotten from a simple request.

The enhanced resume is now cleaner, more organized, and effectively highlights my projects and experiences in a way that is immediately recognizable to hiring managers in the social media field.
My Best ECS Projects
The goal I had was to create engaging social media content: an AI-generated video reel featuring the Barbie form of Marline saying a quote. Another one was getting a "quotable moment" from a fathom meeting and turning it into a post. I managed everything from making sure it was on brand, caption writing, and final post scheduling. I incorporated AI in two key ways:
The process involved two main steps:
1. Reel Creation: I used an initial image and asked ChatGPT for a detailed Veo prompt. After the video was generated, I used Canva for editing and making it on brand.
2. Post Creation: I developed the visuals and captions for the quotable moments posts, and then scheduled them.
The scheduled posts achieved decent reach and impressions across multiple platforms.
These projects taught me, again, that detail matters. When prompts are too general, the results are average. But when they’re crafted with specifics, AI can generate high-quality, unique content that truly fits the brand.

Growth & Learning Journey
At the start of my internship, I had limited knowledge of AI tools available. I did not yet understand how to apply them strategically or select the right tool for a specific business objective. Now I am aware of tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and NotebookLM, and I know where to use them based on a specific business task.
Through hands-on practice, I developed key skills in maintaining brand consistency, applying SEO and marketing strategies, and identifying the most effective AI tool for each project. The greatest breakthrough came from realizing that choosing an AI tool was not a matter of chance, but it was a deliberate choice. This helped me to achieve measurable results.
I also grew in alignment with ECS’s core values:
Innovation: I consistently tested and compared AI models, pushing them to deliver higher quality outputs, as demonstrated in the Veo reel project.
Excellence: I did not settle for generic outputs but refined prompts.
I built practical skills like using WIX to schedule posts, designing with Canva, applying SEO to improve visibility, and using NotebookLM for research. I also learned how to run comparison tests across different AI models to see which one worked best for each task.
Another area of growth was my ability to recognize and apply the brand voice. I learned to consistently keep the tone of the brand across captions and posts. This is an essential skill for keeping authenticity while making content with AI.
One of the most valuable lessons I gained was learning to treat AI outputs as a starting point, not the final product. By refining and improving on what the AI provided, I was able to create stronger, more polished content and better understand how strategy, like SEO and brand alignment, shapes long-term success.
My Future & ECS Impact
I’m now focused on growing into a professional Social Media Manager and Content Creator. My goal is to use AI as a tool for efficiency while still creating work that feels authentic and meaningful. I know this field is always evolving, so I’m committed to learning and improving every day.
This internship didn’t just train me, but it also gave me the confidence and practical skills to handle real-world content challenges. I’ve learned how to balance creativity with technology and how to bring both together to deliver results for clients.
Working with ECS allowed me to have hands-on experience with a real client. Along the way, I also picked up valuable business advice: how to stay organized with Trello, how to think strategically about marketing, and how to choose the right AI tool for the right task.
Earning the ECS AI Integration Specialist credential is something I’m proud of because it not only reflects what I’ve learned, but also shows that my training is grounded in ethical and effective use of AI in business.
If I could give one piece of advice to future ECS interns, it would be this: be curious, ask lots of questions, and give your best to every project. You’ll be surprised at how much you grow when you lean fully into the experience.
