My ECS Journey
Hello, my name is Britney! I'm a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida (Class of May 2025), and I completed my internship with Enilram Creative Solutions as a Marketing Intern from January 2024 through August 2025. During that time, I gained hands-on experience that transformed my career trajectory so much so that I founded my own company, Monarca Marketing, where I now serve as CEO, specializing in marketing, content creation, website development, and email campaigns. I have earned my ECS AI Integration Specialist credential, and I couldn't be more thankful for the foundation ECS provided me!
My journey with ECS began in January 2024. From the very first week, I started building the foundation that would ultimately empower me to launch my own marketing agency. Our internship cohort was talented and diverse, and together we helped ECS clients while developing the skills we'd need for our futures. Marline Paul, CEO of ECS, was an incredible mentor who pushed all of us to be the best we could be through her positivity, expertise, and unwavering support.
In this portfolio, I'll share how ECS helped me master AI integration tools and develop the entrepreneurial mindset that led me to launch Monarca Marketing. This is my journey from intern to CEO.
LinkedIn Profile Transformation
During my time at ECS, I realized professional growth meant investing in my own online presence. I transformed my LinkedIn from a bare-bones profile with a generic headline and minimal details into a powerful personal brand showcase using AI.
My Strategy:
I used Claude AI with strategic prompts like:
"Help me create a compelling LinkedIn headline that highlights that I'm a bilingual marketing professional who helps business owners build authentic brands."
This transformed my simple job title into:

"Founder & Marketing Strategist @ Monarca Marketing | Empowering Bilingual Business Owners to Build Authentic Online Brands | UCF Marketing Alum"
For my About section, I provided AI with specific details about my experience and asked it to position me as a professional (not just a student) with a compelling, results-focused tone. I refined the output multiple times, ensuring it maintained my authentic voice.

The Results:
Grew to 500+ connections
Substantially increased profile views
Added featured content, endorsed skills, and client recommendations
Established credibility that helped me launch Monarca Marketing
The lesson? AI doesn't replace your authentic voice; instead, it amplifies it strategically.
Resume Enhancement
My original resume was functional but generic. It listed experiences without telling a compelling story or showcasing measurable results. Through ECS's AI integration approach, I transformed it into a powerful marketing tool.
Before Internship

Key Transformations:
Executive Summary: From "Marketing student with customer service experience" to "Recent UCF Marketing graduate with hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and website development. Proven ability to build engaging campaigns. Bilingual in English and Spanish with expertise in SEO, AI tools, and customer persona building."
Experience Bullets: I learned to use specific prompts that included context, actual metrics, and desired positioning. For example, for my freelance work with Solis Tree Service, I highlighted the impressive 57.6% CTR metric prominently, showing both technical execution and measurable impact.
Added Academic Projects: I created a new section showcasing analytical work using frameworks like STP, SWOT, and PESTEL—demonstrating I could apply marketing theory to real business problems.
The Outcome: This enhanced resume helped me transition from Marketing Intern to Marketing Director at ECS, positioned me to launch Monarca Marketing, and generated client confidence in my strategic capabilities.
After the internship

My Most Transformative ECS Project:
The "Love Your Business" Campaign
In February 2024, just weeks into my ECS internship, I led the "Love Your Business" workshop campaign. While I completed other successful projects at ECS, this one holds a special place in my heart, not because it was my "best" work, but because it was my most formative. It was the first time I touched every aspect of a marketing campaign from start to finish.
My Role - A Complete Marketing Experience:
This wasn't just about one task it was about orchestrating an entire campaign. I:
Developed the campaign concept and messaging strategy
Created all visual assets in Canva
Wrote copy that resonated with entrepreneurs
Designed and sent promotional emails via Wix
Scheduled content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
Monitored engagement and adjusted strategy in real-time
This end-to-end project taught me more than any single "perfect" project could have. I learned by doing and by occasionally stumbling, then figuring it out.
AI Integration in Action:
When brainstorming left me overwhelmed with scattered ideas, I used Claude to organize them into a structured week-by-week content calendar. For design challenges in Canva, I asked AI for step-by-step instructions instead of watching hours of tutorials. For email copy and social captions, I prompted AI for options, then refined them with my authentic voice.
Results:
Increased workshop registrations compared to previous months
Higher engagement than typical content
Positive feedback from Marline, who praised my initiative
Built my confidence as someone who could lead complete campaigns independently
Created reusable templates for future ECS promotions
Why This Project Matters Most:
This campaign taught me that marketing isn't about perfection; it's about execution, learning, and iteration. I learned how all the pieces of a campaign fit together: strategy, creative, email, social media, and analytics. That holistic understanding became the foundation for every client project I've taken on since, including the work I do now at Monarca Marketing.
Key Learning:
AI is invaluable for organization, technical learning, and efficiency—but the creative vision, brand alignment, and authentic voice must come from you. Human creativity + AI efficiency = best results.
Future and ECS Impact
Where I'm Headed:
I'm building Monarca Marketing into more than an agency; it's a movement transforming how bilingual businesses approach their online presence. In one year, I expect to have 15-20 consistent clients across Orlando and Latin America. In three years, a full-service agency with a team sharing my commitment to cultural authenticity and community empowerment.
My ideal clients are bilingual business owners, first-generation entrepreneurs, immigrant-owned businesses, minority entrepreneurs, and non-profits who deserve marketing that honors their heritage while helping them grow in both markets.
Building Trust Through Results:

Since launching Monarca Marketing in August 2025, I've maintained a perfect 5-star rating on Google, based on client reviews. This isn't just a number; it's proof that the AI integration skills, client communication strategies, and quality standards I learned at ECS translate into real client satisfaction.
My clients consistently highlight the cultural authenticity of bilingual marketing, the measurable results from SEO-optimized websites, and the personalized attention they receive. These reviews validate that the ECS values I embody- Faithful, Available, Teachable, Servant Heart—create tangible value for the businesses I serve.
How ECS Prepared Me:
ECS gave me real client experience, taught me to lead (not just execute), made me an AI Integration Specialist, showed me the values-driven business model I wanted to build, and provided a supportive community. Without ECS, I wouldn't have had the confidence, skills, or courage to launch Monarca Marketing just months after graduation.
The ECS AI Integration Specialist Credential:
This credential proves strategic AI application, not just basic usage. It differentiates me in client conversations and validates my commitment to continuous learning. I display it prominently and, more importantly, I live it daily in every project I execute.
Advice for Future ECS Interns:
Take full ownership of every project, even the small ones. Master AI integration strategically, ask questions, build real relationships, document your growth, and don't wait until you feel "ready." ECS gives you freedom to experiment use it to discover what you're capable of.
